The Central Council of Disabled Persons

The Central Council of Disabled Persons (CCoDP) was founded in 1981 and currently service over 20,000 disabled and underprivileged people throughout Sri Lanka. Through its training programs, loans schemes and handicraft, garment and wheelchair production workshops, the CCoDP successfully reintegrates disabled and underprivileged people into the community.

The CCoDP is a member of the Micro-credit Summit Campaign, the Rehabilitation International, the Asian Spinal Cord Network Bangladesh, Dutch Coalition on Disability and Development Holland, Disabled Persons Joint Front in Sri Lanka, The International Federation for Alternative Trade UK, The Crafts Centre USA, The Asian Fair Trade Federation. The CCoDP is also accredited by the UN-AD Hoc Committee.
