Artesanias el Madero de Jesus is a crafts group based in the El Salvador that works primarily with women living in rural areas. 90% of these women choose to work at home using materials provided by Madero de Jesus, thus using this opportunity to care for their families, both financially and literally. Besides teaching painting skills, Madero de Jesus provides work space, materials and design support, plus it provides medical care for each artisan at least once a year.
