Dhaka Scarf from Nepal

This is a hand woven traditional design Dhaka scarf was handmade by the Artisans of Third World Craft, Nepal. Dhaka cloth is an intricate art in traditional hand weaving that has been preserved in Nepaland is valued for its artful handwork in natural fibers. The traditional patterns are woven on wood and bamboo treadle looms by Limbu and Rai women of the eastern hill area of Nepal. It is made from mercerized cotton and measures 55" x 8" with 1" fringe at the bottom. It can be worn for warmth or just accent your outfit. A tag is included with each scarve. Comes in assorted colors and designs and no two scarfs are alike.
