100% ORGANIC, FAIR TRADE, SHADE GROWN COFFEE A very dark blend of Central American coffees, Higher Ground's French Roast is one of the darkest roasts available. The cup is bold and nutty with a smooth and slightly smoky finish.

This way, we can guarantee that the family farmers we depend on for excellent coffee are getting a good price for their product, and that their way of life and approach to agriculture will be preserved for years to come. Fair Trade certification better enables the farmers who grow our coffees to keep their family owned farms and benefit from economic and educational programs—in short, allowing the fruits of their labor to be reinvested in their own communities. All of our coffees are also grown in the shade of the forest canopy—preserving ancient forests and natural habitat for innumerable species of plants and animals.
