Recycled Elephant Dung Notepad

Made of 75% elephant dung (elephants eat mostly plants, which equals cellulose), this notepad is acid-free, lignin-free and tree-free! They're always popular for graduations, Mothers Day & Father's Day too! Colors vary, but most are "neutral" or "earthy".

This fair trade projects helps protect wild elephant populations of Sri Lanka by giving the elephants economic power/worth. Due to their great size, elephants often overtake farmland and farmers were killing them - but now this project seeks to change that! You can be a part of the solution that helps economically disadvantaged farmers and a dwindling population of wild elephants.

There are no toxic chemicals used in the paper-making process. Only basic bonding agents such as alum and rosin, along with water soluble salt dyes for coloring are used. No bleach. No Acids.
