These colorful bangles are handmade of a South Indian wood called Ankudu and vibrant colors that are 100% lead-free non-toxic vegetable dyes. The lacquer comes from the sap of a rosewood tree and is guaranteed not to chip or flake. Portions of the profits of this item go toward supporting Speed Trust; a non-profit trust that supports socially and economically deprived women from slum areas outside Madras, India. Speed Trust offers women vocational training, micro-credit loan opportunities and educational programs for the women and their child Not intended for children under 12.
